Description
Would you consider adding an env variable to control globally whether to show the prefix for puts() output?
Especially frustrating as I'm supressing most of the output levels, and this seems to ignore that.

This is relevant to #163 also, as they are roughly the same thing, and could seriously use large swaths of the same final mechanism :)
